Avalyn The next few days flew by in a blur. All we did was train and plan minute details. We made it a point to practice with the vampires so that we fought like a team. Nik was more stressed than I had ever seen him. In fact, I hardly saw him after our little date. He was the busiest of all. Avalyn Nik and I stood on the terrace of the house as we looked at the peaceful ocean. The moon cast a beautiful reflection of itself on the dark sea. Cold winds blew and I shivered.
