Silvan's POV

"The result from the experiment carried out on the dead culprits is ready, Your highness" Doran said over the phone.

"Good, what does it say?" I returned, burying my hands in my pocket.

Doran was quiet as if trying to find the best way to report the case, "Was it poison?" I tried to suggest.

"Did the two die because they were poisoned? Were they sick or something?"

"Not at all Alpha, it's a different case all together" Doran replied

"Then don't keep me hanging and answer the question, Doran. What does the report say?"

I could hear Doran suck in a huge breath, "Those two are not humans as suspected" he revealed.

My eyes popped in astonishment but I did not say a word, I just waited for him to round up so that I could take everything in.

"When we arrived the scene where their corpse were kept, we were expecting to see normal humans probably on the verge of rotting as should be, but to our surprise, their corpses looked rather feral than human.
