“Where is she?” I grunted to my maids as they ran to stand before me. “Where is that Gail?”

“She isn’t here,” the maids said to me. “She might be out of the palace.”

“I saw her earlier and now I can’t.”

“Is there anything you want from us?”

I looked around the palace grounds only to note that it was not safe having this conversation here.

Someone could overhear me and report me to the alpha.

“Follow me,” I said to my maids, taking them to my room. When we entered, I sat on the bed, looking at all of them. “That girl has tested me for a long time now and I want her gone.”

“That can be done for you,” a maid piped.

“I don’t want to drag this any longer. I want her gone now. I want her gone when the alpha is not around.”

“That can be done for you. When do you want it done?”

“Tonight. Who amongst you is on kitchen duty?”

Only one raised her hand.

“The rest of you should go,” I ordered as they all bowed before leaving. I looked at her for minutes before standing to my feet. “You, a
