Chapter 13: Library

It had taken me some effort but I had decided to not give into Seff’s sad expression. He had been sulking and brooding all the way to the library while walking a few meters behind me letting me know that he wasn’t happy with what I had done.

“Are you really going to keep walking behind me?” I asked turning to look at him.

“Of course, I wouldn’t want anyone to see you with me. What would they think?” he grumpily huffed and deciding to let him be I continued to walk towards the library.

“Wait here for me,” I said going in first to see if there was any one at the main desk and thankfully the librarian was absent from her seat or maybe absent from work.
