Chapter 69: Alora’s Anger

“What the heck are you yapping about? Are you crazy? Don’t listen to his words, Seff,” Esme laughed trying to dilute the situation but I could tell that Travis was serious in his suggestions.

“No, it’s alright Esme you don’t need to defend me,” he said in response and taking my hand under the trouble he tightly held onto it making me look at him. His deep blue eyes were flicking between gold and blue and I knew he was angry.

Clenching his hand back I tried to assure him that I was here for him and the touches seemed to work as he glared at Travis with bluer eyes and stated, “What we do or do not do doesn't concern you. I am Lycia’s mate and I will be her husband too. As long as she wants me I‘ll be anything for her but if you try to interfere in between our bond and take her away from me then I will be forced to do something about it. You shouldn’t underestimate me.”

“Just saying that you would be anything to her doesn’t give you the qualifications to be that.” Travis argues
