Ethan put his hands in the pocket of his wedding suit, took a cold, deep breath, and ruffled his hair in frustration as the water was calm, the sound of a bird whispering, the tone of the trees howling with their sweet melodies, and their rhythmic movement were all audible.

He then sighed and grinned as he roared loudly, scaring the birds away from their hiding places.

He was wounded that he didn't care about any of the birds; all he could think about was his miserable life. His heart ached, and he shed a few hot tears, wiping them away with his hands.

He said to himself.

"A prince is not supposed to cry," in an effort to console himself and reassure himself that everything would be alright. Despite the pain he was experiencing inside of his heart, he couldn't help but grin amid the horror of it all.

"What a dreadful life, I lived!" he mutters beneath his icy breath before tapping his heart, which causes his smile to quickly vanish.
