There was something about waking up in the morning and staring at familiar faces. The pace in which they all wake up, the pace in which they all relate, the sighs and ohs of their mouth as it forms words, intelligible or not. I was never waking up to familiar faces. Or rather, I had never woken up to familiar faces. It was a stepping stone, the one I watched in movies write family members woke up and asserted themselves immediately to daily routine.
