Chapter Sixty Four

Scarlet's heart broke into two before Beatrice could say another word. Seeing both Beatrice's and Elias' name, engraved in the wall seemed like they had a strong bold which someone like her couldn't break.

“Why are you showing me this?” Scarlet questioned, looking at the wall, and not wanting to look at Beatrice in the eyes because she didn't want her to see her pain.

She didn't want to look defeated, but her lips were trembling as she was fighting hard to hold her tears in.

“Elias and I engraved our names here in the early times of our relationship, and the reason it's near a graveyard is because till death do us apart, we'll continue to love each other. So, now, do you understand why you can't rip us apart?”

Scarlet couldn't bear any of the nonsense which Beatrice was spitting out, and then left immediately. Tears ran down her eyes as she backed Beatrice, running as fast as she could, until she got a cab.
