Congratulations

Later that evening Sera stepped out of her room and saw her friend Cedric making his way towards her.

At first Sera frowned at him then she paused and frowned at him.... he looked off... stiff and different.

There was a smile on his face but it looked.... fake like he was forcing himself to smile at her. Before she had time to calculate her thoughts.... he was infront of her.

"Sera, my dear Luna," Cedric greeted and immediately pulled her into a warm hug that caught her by suprise. "Congratulations to you and Alistair. May your bond be strong and your happiness last forever."

Sera tried hard to shake her suspicious thoughts away... maybe she was imagining things but even his words felt forced like he was reading out rehearsed lines that someone forced him to say.

But she still smiled at him. "Thank you, Cedric," she replied,

“You once said that I’m like a daughter to you, well now we’ll actually be truly family! Yayy! I’m so excited!” She squealed in honest excitement.
