Understanding Amelia

After the splendid picnic, Sera and Lucas strolled back home hand in hand… grinning like high school sweet hearts.

It felt nice…right.

Infact, Sera could honestly say she had never felt so at peace in her life.

They passed by a beautiful rose bush that was surrounded with thorns, and Sera couldn’t help but admire it. It reminded her Grace and her fondness with flowers.

“Ohh look… those roses are soo pretty…. Half red, half pink.. pretty.”

Lucas turned to look at her with a smirk, “you want one? I can get one for you.” He said.

“Don’t be silly Lucas! They are surrounded by a serious hedge of thorn…. you’ll only injure yourself.”

“You’re probably right, they’ll scratch and prick. And It’ll probably hurt like a bitch…. But it’ll all be worth the pain when I give you.”

“Ooohhh you sound so smooth and cool, like a playboy trying to win a pretty girl.” She teased.

“Well… that’s not exactly wrong is it? I am trying to win this pretty girl standing next to me after all.” He grins at her
