"W...wait, please, stop." Emma breathed heavily as they climbed up a hill.

Her body was sticky with sweat and her hair stuck to her hair.

"Are you okay?" Mia asked, turning to look at her. She had to walk carefully toward Emma due to how steep the hill was.

"I think we need to take a rest. I'm exhausted." Emma said, holding onto Mia. Her eyes were starting to shut but then she tried to keep them open.

On the other hand, Mia looked at her with pity and then looked around. There was nowhere to rest on the hill.

If they decide to take refuge on the hill, it would be dangerous. It was obvious it was about to rain and they would get hurt.

"I think we have to go down the hill to find a place to rest. Please, let's walk a few more minutes." Mia said, slowly.

Emma was silent for a moment, thinking, and then she nodded her head.

She followed every of Mia's words as she didn't want to become a burden. Or let the maid think her decision to follow Emma was a mistake.
