Thirty

GIGI’S POV

To be frank with myself, I was so scared. Scared of been killed or enslaved but what other thing could fear someone like me, who was nearly slaughtered with a cutlass.

The helpless hunter were dragging me back to hide, he doesn’t want me to leave but I had to. Something in me told me I was the reason for this calamity that came upon him.

“Don’t go young lady, do you want to risk your life? Let’s just hide here.” He said, looking pathetic at me.

No I needed to go, this calamity cane upon you cause I was here with you and it was surely my cross to carry.

“I will sacrifice my life, just hide here and promise me you won’t come out of your hiding place.” I responding, wiping off my tears with the back of my hands.

I had been really used to bad calamities falling on me, It was not something new unlike the helpless hunter. This might be his first time in this deadly situation.

I could easily see fright and timidness in his eyes and all over his body but just like a man, he was hid
