The Decision

After my conversation with Mary, I knew I needed to talk to Xander. So, the next day, I went to visit him in his pack. I found him in his office, surrounded by piles of papers.

"Hey, Liliana. What brings you here?" Xander asked, looking up from his work.

"I need to talk to you," I replied, sitting down in one of the chairs in front of his desk.

"Sure, what's on your mind?" Xander asked, putting his work aside.

"It's about what we talked about before, about me coming to your pack," I said, looking at him nervously.

Xander raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Oh, I see. And what do you want to talk about?"

"I...I need some time to think about it," I said, hesitantly. "I don't want to make any hasty decisions that I might regret later."

Xander nodded. "I understand, Liliana. Take all the time you need. I don't want you to do anything that you're not comfortable with."

I breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Xander. I really appreciate it."
