Before Zachariah can say anything in return, the Vampire King and Queen then step back as they seem to be surrounded by darkness and then they are gone. Zachariah then pulls me into his arms and says,

Everyone in the ballroom that wasn’t already on their knees does at the authority within that howl, recognising her as their Queen. However, Malik was not one that went to his knee.
