Two Hundred-Twelve
I feel heat fill me and I cry out as my body feels like it's burning. I then seem to be thrown back. I have no control over anything, and I watch as everything takes on a sharper orange hue. I then hear Zachariah,
“Lorelei? What are you doing?”
He sounded a little worried, as I could feel his hand running through my fur before I feel the heat once more, as I am still pushed back but now in my human form.
“Sorry, Zachariah, but I needed to tell you something…”
“Oh, okay. What’s wrong?”
“Do you remember me telling you that I was Queen Margaret’s panther?”
“Yes, I remember.”
“Well, there is a little more to her story than just what I told you. What I told you was about the day we died, but there is more to it.”
“What do you mean, more to it?”

I snap my head and nose up to the sky and take a deep breath. I get to my feet, pushing him off of me as I then say,“The storm is increasing once more. We need to return because if we get caught out in it, it is very easy to get turned around within the snow and get lost, and getting lost in the snow can cost you your life.” Zachariah/Morpheus roll over onto their back exposing to me their belly before huffing and then getting to their feet. Once I am near enough to them, I clear my throat. “Um… Can I speak to you?” Zachariah turns and looks at me and then back at the others around him and Raphael. He then says, “Go and check on the pack up of the camp. Report back in 15.” “Yes, Alpha.” The others all walk away. Raphael goes to walk away as well. I quickly say, “Raphael, please stay…” He stops and returns to standing by Zachariah’s side. I take a deep breath before asking, “How much do you know about Queen Margaret?” “I only know the basics…” Zachariah says as he readjusts where Darius is sitting on his hip. “I may be able to answer a little more. What did you want to know?” I look down. If I am remembering things right, both Zachariah and Raphael know about my nightmare and what some of them mean. I just don’t want to make a fool out of myself if my memory is wrong. I take a deep breath and say, “You know my nightmares?” “Yes.” They both answer and I let out what was left of that deep breath. We travel for the next few days with no problems. Zachariah was still very possessive and would keep me within our tent as much as possible. Most of the time he would use my body's reaction to his to have me melting into his body and touch, getting me to allow him to do as he pleased with me. Not that I was really complaining as l was enjoying every minute of his attention even when the slightly rougher and heavily possessive side of him would come to the surface but that only seemed to happen after I have been doing training with Raphael or Charles especially when it was one on one. I am surprised a few days later when Zachariah actually allowed me to go and fetch some water with Charles from a fresh running stream nearby. Once there, I crouch down and fill first the water bottles and then the 4 buckets we brought with us for some of the others to do some cooking. I just continue to watch. I also know that Zachariah is on his way. He, however, doesn’t move closer. When I don’t answer him, he continues.“The darts in him are the normal full strength, the knife well that was just extra but nothing that would hurt him. The ones for you are slightly different, they are experimental. From what I was told, they only have a touch of sedative to dull the mind a little and a slightly different version of the drug I used on you the first time to weaken the beast within you. **Memory Dream Flashes** I watch as if I am someone else; I watch from the side as I kill one human after another, blood squirting every which way and then I watch as I sink my teeth into Conrad’s neck and rip it out, more blood… As I watch Conrad’s blood flow freely from his neck he slowly morphs into another male covered in blood and I am suddenly pinned to the wall.I adjust the grip I have on the small medical knife and, with as much strength as I can, I stab him in the eye with it. He growls, lets me go and stumbles back, his hands going to his face, using one to find and pull out the knife. He takes a quick look at it and drops it to the floor. He then looks at me and growls once more. He moves to attack me again, but I move a little quicker this time. I duck his next attack and as I do; I pick up the knife off of the floor.I then use it.
