Raven’s Pov

My eyes fluttered open, and I was instantly blinded by the amount of light that invaded my sight; I raised my hands and blocked away the light before rising from my position on the ground over a soft pillow.

I turned around and noticed it wasn’t a soft pillow but Giselle. My eyes widened at her state, and she looked completely pale.

My hands immediately went around her, touching her face. I instantly retracted my hands when I felt how cold she was. It was like her whole body became ice.
