My only fear of having Catalina witness the actual birth was my worry that seeing her aunt in pain might scare her, scientifically, medically, I have no problem. With the way the kid's mind works she'd probably look at the whole thing aesthetically, so whereas I wouldn't want someone else watching my wife go through this, I didn't mind her.
