Vincenzo's POV

I couldn't help but think about what would be the next move of my father's murderers. Anger surged through my veins as I extended my hands to take the phone, but I didn't open the bag.

Detective James perceived my silence as lack of words, and he continued to speak, “We are going to be very thorough with the investigations, we are yet to discover the fingerprints that were involved in this crime, we are also checking that anyway, I'll keep you informed on anything we find out,” detective James assured me, and I nodded in response.

It's best to leave the police to do their job, so I stepped back, “Alright, I'll wait on your call, let's go,” I ordered my men with my last sentence.

And they all entered the cars and we drove off, I couldn't stop thinking about what Thomas did. No amount of money was enough for him to betray us, I'm sure whatever they gave him to kill my father was nothing compared to what he has earned from this household over the years.

I can't wait to hav
