Davina’s POV

Well, Felipe and Darryn got over their sickness. Unfortunately, I have not and it looks like I will not for a few months. Fuck, what the hell am I gonna do? Yes, Burton and I are together, but we have only been together for two months. I was on birth control and I took it religiously. I know he doesn’t want kids yet. I mean we haven’t talked about it, but I can tell he doesn’t. I can’t stay here any longer. However, I can’t go back to my house. It’s too dangerous. I know they are watching my old houses. I guess I could move in with dad. He does have that guest house behind the main house that is empty.

“Hey, you ok?” Burton asks.

Shit, I didn’t even hear him walk behind me. I twist out of his arms and turn and face him.

“I am fine,” I tell him.

I am not fine. He gives me a kiss and returns to play video games with the guys. I let them know that I am going to go visit dad.

“Want me to come with you?” He asks.

“No, I need to talk to him alone,” I tell him
