The Betrayer Within

I cocked my brows at her. Did the whole scenario ness with her head so bad, she was forgetting who the bad men were? Of course, I was bad. But I wasn't the one she should be raising her God-damn voice on.

Bitch must've really lost her mind form the sight of a mere gun fight.

I watched as she crawled backwards and rose to her feet. She wrapped her hands around herself like she was suffering from a cold, only I could tell it was from fear.

There was something about the way she looked at me now. Like I was a demon. The very devil that just tried to kill her.

I scoffed and looked down at myself. That was when I noticed the bloodstains all over me. Could this be the reason she was acting all yellow-belied? Was she dumb?

I decided to ignore her witlessness.

"Why the fúck were these men here?" I growled low in my throat as I stomped towards her.

Her eyes grew wider in shock as she recoiled say from me.

"Stay away from me!" She cried out, her lips trembling.
