Chapter 40

Vincent's pov

"Wake up!" I hear a deep voice shout. I open my eyes and see a guard stood at the door with a gun pointed at me. I groan and look around the small cell I'm in and sigh when I remember what happened yesterday. So it wasn't a dream, I'm actually going to prison.

The guard walks over and pulls me up from the bed and cuffs my hands behind my back.

"Could you be gentle?" I grumble as he basically manhandles me.

"Shut up and follow me," he says and walks me out to another prison van. I'm made to sit down on the bench again before the doors are closed behind me. Fuck this. I've just woken up and I'm already being carted around. The van starts moving and I lean my head against the wall and close my eyes to calm down. Hopefully when I'm at the real prison Damian will be able to come and see me.
