55- Hard Choices

MARIO'S POV

When Faviola hung up on me, I quickly dialled Doctor Greco's cell phone number so that he would explain how possible it could have been for him to diagnose Gia falsely about her losing her pregnancy, when she did not.

It did not make sense to me, and I needed him to clear that up for me and then explain how in the fuck hell did he just make me send off my pregnant wife out there to be haunted by Faviola. I needed him to explain to me whether he loved his job very much and never made a wish to lose it. Because I was going to fulfil that wish.

"Doctor Greco?"

"Good afternoon, Montez. How can I help you?"

"How possible is it that you could have given Gia a wrong diagnosis when she did not lose her baby?"

He was silent for a second, breathing. "Why? Is she pregnant?"

"I asked a question, Doctor Greco."

He sighed. "I don't think I might have given her a wrong diagnosis when all her pregnancy tests came back faint and others negative. She lost the baby, Mario. And she was blee
