Chapter 92: Hope

I could see Shona getting emotional and it made me feel bad. I wanted her to feel happy and be happy here, but instead, made her cry.

As I confesssd my words, she turned around and was to leave. She climbed the stairs in a hurry, and I panicked, because she's pregnant and she should be catious, so I ran behind her.

And all of a sudden, she tripped.

"Aahh!" She screamed.

She was about to fall, but luckily I was present there. I held her tightly, preventing her from the slightest bit of injury and she was in my arms.

She looked at me. I held her hand and made her climb the stairs and we finally reached the upper balcony. She was still looking at me.

"Are you okay?" I asked her.

And then, she hugged me tightly.

"I...I thought I will lose my life today," she cried out.

"I won't even let a scratch on you till the time I'm alive, Shona," I responded.

She didn't say a word, but I could hear her sobs.

"Don't cry, shona. Please," I begged her.
