I slowly opened my eyes as the sun peeked through the curtains in my room, casting a warm glow across the walls. As I stretched my limbs and let out a contented sigh, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over me. The sleep had helped me cool my mind and I was ready for the day ahead.

I got out of bed and walked over to the window, opening it to let in some fresh morning air. The soft chirping of birds filled the quiet, peaceful air, and I breathed in the crisp scent of nature. I closed my eyes, feeling grateful for the moment of serenity, before heading downstairs.

As I walked into the kitchen, the scent of freshly brewed coffee filled my nostrils. Mom and Dad were already up, and I could see them bustling about in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. I greeted them with a warm smile and a good morning, feeling grateful for their presence. It felt like old days, and I was glad to have a sense of normalcy back in my life.

I sat down at the table and looked at the spre
