Chapter 14

“Hello baby!!” Mom said as she walked into my room smiling sheepishly at me.

“Has dad left?” I asked mom as I watched her sit comfortably in bed with me.

“Yes he just left now, he said he would be back soon but I doubt, it seems they have a really important meeting to catch up today,” My mom said as she carefully removed her indoor slippers and raised her leg up and carefully placed them into my duvet.

“You just ate though so why are you all covered up as if you’re about to sleep and it’s not even afternoon yet,” mom said to me as she placed her head carefully on the pillow close to mine.

“But you’re joining me!” I excalimed as I smiled hard and tickled my mom’s armpit and she gushed out for laughter.

“It’s because you are influencing me!” Mom said as she reached for my cheeks and giggled them and I smiled softly.

My mom is literally my best friend! We share different kinds of opinions and ideas together.
