Chapter 21Connor's heart pounded in his chest as he sprinted back to Annah's room, his mind racing with worry and fear. The sound of gunshots still echoed in his ears, a loud reminder of the chaos that had erupted within his once-peaceful mansion. Chapter 23Together with his men, Connor walked towards the dungeon located deep within the mansion. With where he was, it was literally impossible for him to escape and Connor loved it that way. Chapter 24Annah stared at the window with tears welling up in her eyes. She had been like this for a long time and the worst part of it all was that she didn't even know what she was crying about. It was probably the depressing state she was in or the way Connor had treated her and she knew it had to be one of the two.
