Chapter 169

Mia’s pov

A startled gasp flew out my mouth and when I glanced at Aisha, I realized that she had gasped as well. Her eyes were wide as saucers and her hand was over her mouth as she regarded her brother who looked like he was frozen in the same spot, phone still gripped tightly in his hand.

Lorenzo had asked him to come outside.

That could only mean one thing, that he was right here in this location.

But, how?

Aisha’s brother was yet to send him an address of this location, so how? When I glanced up at Aisha and her siblings, they still seemed to be frozen in spot.

“Do you really think he’s outside?” Aisha whispered in horror and I watched as her brother swallowed emptily. He whipped out a second phone and dailed a number, phone pressed against his ear while Aisha began to pace once again. It was something she clearly usually do whenever she was worked up.

“No answer.” Aisha’s brother declared, forcing Aisha to stop pacing.
