Chapter 179

Lorenzo’s pov

Mia’s lips were slightly parted as she slept peacefully atop me. We had been lazily discussing about a bunch of random things before she slowly drifted off to sleep. I was sitting on the couch in the sitting room and she was perched over my laps, curled up in a cute ball. I felt my heart sting flutter a little as I let my gaze wander over inch of her face.

She was so gorgeous that it sometimes hurts to look at, it makes me wonder how her peers hadn’t been ridiculously jealous of her while they had all been growing up together.

She let out a small yawn as she snuggled into me even more, causing me to smile fondly as I reached out to brush the small strand off her out of her face.

I was madly, stupidly, ridiculously in love with her that it was ridiculous to sometimes to think about. It was ridiculous before it had never crossed my mind that I’d one day ever have this much raw, intense person got someone, for someone whose father had ruined my life decades ago.
