Lorenzo’s pov

I found myself drawing up into a sitting position along with her. Her eyes were wide open and she was staring straight ahead. Her mouth were parted in what I’d term as shock, and I wasn’t sure of what to make of her reaction to the brought up topic.

Wasn’t I supposed to bring it up? Or, is this also a part of the bunch of stuff she read online?

“Is something wrong?” I asked as I reached for her hand. Her eyes were still blown wide when it locked with mine.

“I- I didn’t come to your office, it wasn’t me at all, I swear.” She breathed out, grip tight around my fingers. I nodded my head as I tried getting her to relax.

“It wasn’t a bad thing, Mia. We were just having fun, weren’t we? Is this also a part of the stuff you read online? For you to act this way when the topic gets brought up, hm?” I asked, watching as her eyes widened even more before she frantically shook her head.

“No, no. Lorenzo, you’re not getting what I’ve been saying. You’re yet to understand.” She be
