I had been talking with Casper over the phone when I had heard the ambulance sirens, but I hadn’t been perturbed by it because it wasn’t in any way my concern. Casper had been aghast when I had told him about the collar that I had managed to get rid of with the help of Jiraq and the others. His reaction had told me that it would be a bad move to tell the others of the collar removal procedures and its consequences, not until we found a solution to the problem.
