When I was done narrating Casper’s tale, Lent sighed, mute, not knowing what to say.

“We are going to have to stay here only for tonight, and head back tomorrow morning, afternoon or evening. Hopefully, Liam would be better enough to be moved. Casper can take care of Jacob.” I said, tapping and holding Lent by the shoulder.

“Is this enough to keep your mind away from Storm for a while?” He asked out of the blue, and I nodded, not knowing what else to say. To think that he would believe that I would be thinking of chasing Storm at this perilous time. Did I seem so desperate about having her? I thought, retracing my steps back to the the room where Jean and Liam were.

“I will be going now.'' Jean said, picking up his bag. He must have packed it up when I and Lent had taken a stroll downstairs to talk.

“How much is your bill?” I asked him, taking out of my phone to run a transfer. But Jean shook his shead.

“Don’t worry bout that. I owe Jiraq a favour. This one is on the house. P
