STORM

Kaden looked so hurt when I called him pathetic, and for a moment I regretted my choice of words but when the imagery of him kissing his girlfriend or ex, whichever, passionately, I shrugged the guilty feeling away.

No way was I feeling guilty for a scumbag. He deserved everything that I had called him now.

“Is that all the explanations you have to render?” I asked him rather. “Is there any other story you want to tell me?”

He shook his head slowly, probably still hurt.

“Well, if that is all. Then you can leave” I pronounced, stepping away from the window ledge and going to the other side of my bed closest to the window.

“Storm..” he called, probably about to state another case but I was having none of it.

“Just leave.” I said, pointing at the window, refusing to back down from my resolve of staying away from him.

He looked at me for a short moment before exhaling like one who had given up on life, and walking toward the window from which he expertly scaled through its ledge
