Visiting The Clan

Kaden inhaled deeply, drumming his fingers on the mahogany table, his nerves fraying at intervals due to the anticipation building inside of him at the prospect of seeing Storm again.

Storm.

The girl made him act like a sixteen year old teen high on puberty and lovesickness.

He took another deep breath in, feeling the need to straighten something; his hands found his beard. He chuckled drily as he realized what he had just done.

Feeling overwhelmed, he stood up from the chair, and strode to the window, sighing when he saw from the window, Lent leading an awe stricken Storm to the office building.

He didn’t blame her. He was sure that the house hadn’t been what she was expecting.

He swirled, then paused. On a better note, he thought he should remain at the window till she came into the room. That would give the impression that he was busy, and not restless from wanting to see her, from wanting to hold her in his arms.
