They are both feeling sad because their school, St. Charles High School, was unable to get the championship title and trophy. Their competitor, Saint Matthew High, won in the end, with only a difference of six points.

Dana is overwhelmed with so much feelings right now. She feels nervous at the same time because this is the exact day and time that she's been waiting for. This is the day that she will confess her feelings toward someone whom she secretly loves for a very long time.
