Ian came to visit Victoria that evening, once again, unannounced. He was sure she should be back from work by that hour. He carried a bouquet of flower in his hand and rang the doorbell.

Like an old story, Darius was the one who opened the door. He wanted to groan when he saw this man. Ian really couldn’t leave her alone. He was especially upset since Ian had made the move and tried to propose to her.

“It’s not a good timing. Victoria isn’t in her best state right now. I suggest you leave.” This time, Darius’ response was different. It wasn’t derived from a state of envy or jealousy. He also wasn’t acting defensive at all. It looked like this time there was a different reason and Ian quickly picked up on it.

“What’s wrong? Is she fine?” He asked.
