Nikolay:

“No one aside from the four of us will know of this” Kiara said looking at me, Maddie, and Vladimir. I smiled and kissed her temple.

“Don’t worry, princess. Just focus on staying alive, we’ll manage doing the rest and wait for your signal before announcing anything to anyone” I assured Kiara who smiled at me. I watched as she hugged Maddie, then Vladimir who lifted her in his arms.

“Hey, come back in one piece, no more of this crazy attitude” Vladimir said exposing her arm making her laugh. I was glad that the office walls were sound proof, otherwise us keeping this ‘between us’ would be a bit too difficult to do. Kiara smiled and covered her arm with her sleeve playfully rolling her eyes.

“I make no promises, Ivanov”

“You are your husband’s wife alright” Vladimir teased.

“I believe it’s your mum’s daughter?”
