CHAPTER ONE

STACEY

Stacey had the feeling that she was being followed, the biker at her back had been at the club too, even though she knew she hadn't seen his face at all,she couldn't miss the too many sizes too short brown leather jacket, too big faded jeans and brown leather boots anywhere. She couldn't help but wonder who would be stalking her. Was it one of her father's enemies, people he kept offending, or someone who wanted a favor and hoped he could follow her trail to lead him to where her father was.

Her dad was the biggest mafia in the game, she totally adored him right from when she was a kid up till that very moment. She was always by her father's side, there was always something new to learn everytime they were together. Her old man was so full of wisdom. She smiled to herself just thinking of the fun they'd always had together too. She was such a daddy's girl and she hoped one day she could succeed in the role as the leader of the gang. That would make her the second woman in her lineage to be a mafia leader. Her grandma was her second hero, after her dad of course. She still heard stories of how her grandma led the gang, took them to the top. Helped develop the town, put 'bronze city' on the map. Her grandma was a motherfuckin' legend. She's been dead for a whole ten years now, her dad now leading the gang in her place.

Her stalker was catching up with her. Stacey rode faster. She really hoped it wasn't one of Marco's men. They've been after her family for five years now. Trying to eliminate them so they could rule the town in their stead. This particular clash had killed her favorite cousin Gino. Marco and his men were dangerous one thing she knew for sure, but they weren't half as dangerous as her dad. And whoever was following her if it be one of Marco's men was treading on very dangerous territory. Stacey found a hidden corner and parked her bike. If there's one thing her dad taught her it was to approach your target how and when they least expect. Her stalker wouldn't know what hit him. The night was dark and she could hardly see a thing. But her ears were alert and she knew her target parked his bike too and was walking in her direction. She readied her pocket knife, whoever this guy was,she wasn't going to kill him immediately, he would definitely make a fine gift for her father. She would definitely enjoy torturing him and getting every information she could from him about whoever it was that sent him.

Her target was nearing now,she could smell his cologne. It was a combination of fruity and manly which she kind of liked. 'okay concentrate Stacey' she chided herself, she really needed to concentrate if she was going to have any chance at disabling this guy. Just a little closer now and she would attack.

He was close enough now, just where she wanted him. Stacey sprung out of her hiding place, in one swift kick she got him at the back of his knee sending him spiraling to the ground. That was easy she thought, but she was far from done. Her stalker was on the floor groaning, dude probably didn't know what hit him. She was just about to deliver another well targeted kick at her opponent when she found herself on the ground as well. Okay this dude was fast too,he cleared her off her feet with his foot while still disabled on the ground he was good, really good. In an instant he had her pinned on the ground and he was on top of her. She couldn't see her attackers face, he had dark shades on. She tried her only other option aiming for his face with her fist but he stopped her midway. Stacey knew she was in deep sh!t. Somehow her attacker had overpowered her. She tried to aim for his balls with her knee but he had her secured firmly beneath him.

" Who the fuck sent you to come after me, if my father gets you, you'll be so sorry you ever pulled this kind of stunt man" she spat in his face.

She felt her attacker loosen his grip on her arm. In one swift movement he had her hands pinned atop her head. ' God please not this, not rape' she silently prayed. She had never had a rape experience before and she silently prayed this wasn't going to be her first one. But instead of her attacker reaching for his belt, he used his free hand to take of his shades and Stacey found herself staring into the most beautiful set of brown eyes she'd ever seen.

Her attacker was beautiful. That was the only word to describe the person who was on top of her,she was speechless for a whole minute, just lay there staring into his brown eyes. For some reason he looked really confused, she could see it in his eyes as he stared back at her too.

" You're a girl?" he asked. He looked so genuinely confused it amazed Stacey. He removed his hand holding her in place.

" I'm a woman". She spat. For some undescribable reason, Stacey was annoyed how dare he call her a girl . She was twenty_three years old for fuck's sake, well nearly twenty three, not that it mattered anyway. She was suddenly aware of the position they were in, him on top of her and it made her cheeks flush . Thank God it was dark,so her attacker couldn't see her face coloring. She sent him staggering backwards with a hard shove at his chest. His chest was rock solid,he definitely did work out. She didn't even know why the idea made her blush harder. She got up,dusting dirt off her clothes as she did.

" I'm a woman " she repeated " and my name's Stacey ". She really had no idea why she gave the stranger her name. Maybe she wanted him to find her, everybody in this town knew who she was, so she guessed he wasn't from around this part. The whole idea was silly and she didn't know why she wanted him to come looking for her again.

"I'm sorry, I think there was a miscalculation somewhere " he was saying. Stacey decided the next thing she liked about him was his voice, it was so alluring, so sexy. It made her blush harder.

" I should be going. Stacey" he continued. Stacey liked the way he called her name. But this whole meeting was wrong and awkward, so there was no way she was telling him her thoughts.

The stranger was walking towards where he parked his bike, right before hers. He got on the bike and reared it to life. Stacey just stood on the spot watching. This stranger was captivating. He turned the bike against her, " bye Stacey " he murmured into the night air, and in an instant he was gone, leaving her into the night.
