Chapter 27

Two years later

Rose sighed tiredly.

"Give me the damn pills."

John: "No. I told you before. You have to face your fears. You can't be dependent on tranquilizers forever."

Rose said in an angry tone. "I can't sleep without them. Give them to me, John."

John said to her: "No."

She tilted her head back tiredly. If not the best friend I have ever had. I would have killed him because of his stubbornness. Damn how bad it got. She couldn't even close her eyes anymore without those sedatives.

Her eyes slowly closed. You remember what happened. After that night two years ago.

Her life became hell. She thought revenge would bring her peace. He would put out the fire in her heart.
