Valencia didn't answer immediately. She closed the door first to avoid disturbing Asher, who was still unconscious.

Seeing the sharp gaze that Ken showed her, Valencia understood and realized that Ken was a reliable subordinate and very loyal to Asher. At least some people cared about Asher besides her.

"Looking at your gaze, you suspect something about me, Ken! I knew you would ask me a question like this," Valencia paused as she stared back at Ken.
