Hazel’s POV

It’s been almost a week since I had Asher and although being a new mother was a lot, it came with a lot of responsibilities and struggles that I had no idea about. I was grateful for my best friend.

Alesha took it upon herself to come here to help me and Lucas would occasionally come to help out with anything he could and I couldn’t be happier.

“Feed that child, Hazel. He’s been crying for hours!” Alesha called to me from the kitchen, she exaggerated Asher’s crying because he only just started and that was because I stopped feeding him.
