Chapter 16

Isabella's POV

After the discussion I had with Lisa in the living, I was left speechless. I didn't know Lisa had such a terrible past and I might have wondered why she was exceptionally sweet towards me.

She said she saw her young self in me and that almost broke me to tears.

We were silent for a while until she broke the silence saying she was fine and all better now. She said I didn't need to feel sorry for her anymore because she had gone past it.

That's reliving, she's healed now I guess. I hugged her and She smiled at me and left. I stood up too and went to my room.

I wasn't comfortable in the room, it was hot and very uncomfortable. I was also bored to my bones. I decided to go into the study since Nate wasn't home and it was pretty still early for him to return home for work.

I went up to the study room and went inside. I did not know much about books but seeing them all well arranged and properly organised by genres and alphabetical order was nice to behold.
