MIA

The party was going better than I expected and everyone was dressed up in fancy outfits. I mentally thanked Marco for getting me a bunch of outfits to wear otherwise I would have embarrassed myself.

I sat all alone at the bar side, sipping my cocktail all alone. I didn't even know anyone there and was just all alone, I couldn't even talk to Nelly because she was busy serving everyone.

It would be absurd to get her to take a break from her work just to talk to me. I didn't want her to get in trouble with Marco and have to lose her job. I heaved a big sigh, feeling very alone wishing I could go back to my room.

" What's a beautiful lady doing here all alone?" I heard Lucas' voice in the background.

I turned to look at Lucas who was dressed in an all-white expensive Armani suit. " Hmm, somebody better calls the fire department because you're making me feel fireworks within."

I wasn't very good when it came to pick up lines but we both just laughed it off and he took a seat beside me
