Chapter 66

Dante led his wife and Marco to their private room and when they opened the door, Aurora was fighting with Tony.

“Aurora,” Dante called her.

She looked at him and saw her mother beside him and the man beside her. She suddenly went silent, remembering her manners.

Daphnee looked at him with a frown. “Why is she crying?”

“I want to go home,” Giovanni said.

Daphnee sighed. She forced a smile as she took her son back to the table and picked Aurora up. “You caught us in bad timing.”

Marco nodded as he looked at Dante, who sat down beside Giovanni instead of his wife.

Looking at Marco, Dante said, “Grab a seat.”

Giovanni felt claustrophobic and lowered his head.

Daphnee looked at her son, then glared at Dante, saying, “Give him water.”

“So Daphnee, how long have you been in Italy?” Marco asked.

She glanced at him briefly and said as she focused her attention on Aurora, who had her face hidden, “Well, I’ve been in and out of Italy and Siberia over the past ten years. I only settled on
