The silence sucks

The temperature was falling fast. It was a windy day and lightning cracked the sky, sending heaven's light

through the storm. There was snow in the rain that splattered against the houses . The storm came with a

sepia hint to the silver-black sky, as if it already knew the winds, the rain, and the snow it wrought would echo for eternity.

It was New Year's eve. Old folks cower under umbrellas on their way back to their cozy homes

where their families and dogs and flat-screen TV and delicious food were waiting for them . Under the

streetlight , ambulance made its way to the hospital through the howling and grumbling winds. The

ambulance was manned by a nurse , a paramedic, and a driver.Ariadne stumbled on the floor she had to be rushed to the hospital.

Renee was not home so Zack called the ambulance. It was generous of him. He was not fond of Ariadne and his relationship with Renee was hanging by a thin thread.
