Chapter Forty Six: A Stunned Silence!

Two days had passed but Dante's revelation was met with a stunned silence, the racing beat of my heart pulsated under my finger tips and his words which lingered in my head.

I rose to my feet, pacing up and down anxiously, flinging myself into a chair. I wiped the sweat which was formed on my forehead with the back of my hand, my arms crossed on the table and my head sunken into my shoulder.

"It's time for me to let you go Ashley" his echo of words filled my head as my heart squeezed with cold shivers running down my spine.
