Chapter 25: Valerie, die!

It was blinking dark and white, dark and whole and another dark and white before Valerie's eyes slowly opened. Someone was standing in front of her but she couldn't see the person's face clearly because it appeared blur.

"You're awake, let me inform boss" a woman dressed as a doctor walked out of the room and that was when Valerie's eyes cleared.

She figured she was in the clinic just the way she figured out what happened yesterday. She wanted to escape the clan with Haunter and Martin killed him. Haunter is dead, more tears begin pouring from her eyes.

The door opened and Martin stepped in with the doctor. Seeing him just made her hate for him intensify.

"You say the baby is fine?" Martin asked and the doctor nodded then he walked over to sit on the edge of the bed Valerie was laying.

"How are you feeling?" He tried bringing his hands to touch her face but she slapped it off and glared hard at him.
