The guest became alert immediately at what they heard. Emma's heart skipped a beat from where some cups were being washed. It was the first time she would be hearing this many sounds of gunshot and she couldn't help but get scared. Valerie was right. It was dangerous here, she should have just stayed at home and stayed with her mom.
