Chapter 52: Submissive

Margarette rushed towards the bathroom as soon as she felt her stomach churning. She went straight to the sink and puked everything out until there was nothing left but saliva. It was exhausting.

After brushing her teeth and washing her face, she sat down on the bed and stared at the wall. Her dream was kinda strange. She dreamt of her father. He was calling at her through her dream, begging her to come back. Her father was standing in the hallway, and behind him was an endless darkness.

Margarette shook her head, tears streaming down her face as she took a step forward. Her heart throbbed seeing the pain in her father's eyes as he called for her.

But she can't...

She doesn't want to go back.

She doesn't want to go back to that place, to that cage, and live the rest of her life being caged. She's got enough of it. She's tired living in a life like that.

"Baby..." A voice called. She turned over her shoulder and saw Xavier, her husband. "Don't leave."
