It was late at night when they suddenly heard a loud commotion outside the house. There was an exchange of gunshots that could be heard even inside the house. Xavier was alerted.

"W-What's going on?" Margarette asked nervously. They were sleeping in the same bed together with their daughter when the two of them heard the loud banging of gunshots. Her heart started beating so fast in her chest, syncing into the beat of each gunshots.

"Stay here, baby," he whispered as he stood up. He opened the secret drawer under the floor and took two guns. One is for him and one is for his wife, just in case.

"This room has a double security lock on it, so you're safe as long as you stay here. Please, don't leave this room, okay?"
