Chapter 102

Damian’s POV

Without any more time, I hurried to where I’d packed my car and a bright light shone in front of me as I groaned. I knew there wasn’t any light in front of me and I’m only seeing the light because of my headache.

“Hey pal, why’d you leave like that? What’s going on?” Isaac asked as soon as he picked up the call and for a moment everything he said sounded like it came out like a slur.

The sound of the car honking in front of me made me swerve right and I’d almost hit the tree in front of me, “wherever you are, just stay there and I’ll track your location and get to you.” Isaac said and hung up immediately.

He knew what might’ve happened with me but I couldn’t just stay behind and wait around for him to come, “there’s no time.” I whispered to myself as I shook my head and regretted it immediately.

Not waiting, I got into the road again and I was grateful for my retentive memory, I’d memorized the plate number and it wasn’t long before I found the taxi again.
